11th Annual National Consumer Protection Week: March 1 -7

The 11th Annual National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) is March 1 through March 7.  NCPW highlights consumer education efforts across the country.  Information can help people get the most for their money, whether they are trying to stretch their paychecks, find a quick fix for a spotty credit history, or tell the difference between a real deal and a scam.  In times like these, information is the one commodity that retains its value.  I encourage everyone to visit www.consumer.gov/ncpw.  The NCPW website has tools to help you recognize a ripoff, sniff out a scam, and make smarter choices.
