Because there's more to running your law firm
than just ordering letterhead!
The
Valentine Business Boot Camp
for Solo Attorneys is an intensive, small group experience designed
to help solo attorneys learn how to run a law firm.
Running a law firm requires a different set of
skills from practicing law. The Boot Camp
has more than 15 distinct topics presented in a lively way to help
you launch a new law practice or run an existing one more
effectively.
The Boot
Camp is centered on a single concept: Every solo attorney can
succeed with the right tools. As a
solo lawyer, you'll be the one leading the charge for your practice,
which you must think of as a business, just like any other
professional services company. You are the CEO, President of
the Board, and managing director all rolled into one person.
Many solo attorneys leave private practice because they didn't learn
how to properly wear the business management hat.
Every
Boot Camp includes written materials, sample forms
and invaluable practice tools. The materials and content are drawn
from previous Boot Camps and CLE’s that I have taught
related to the business aspects of a law practice.
I have been a frequent speaker for the MSBA
on the business side of running a law practice at the "Hanging Out a
Shingle" seminars.
